2024-02-22 Log

At home working in VR, via. Gravity Sketch. I pulled in a bunch of reference images and am just trying to sketch, iterate on things. I can’t work in it for long spurts — I end up needing to take it off every 20 min or so. And honestly, it’s hard to make things that look good in the program, the lighting and materials are so basic. But! It’s good for quickly sketching things out without getting caught up and fussing with vertices, like I would in Blender.

Here I’m trying to model this idea for pentacells connected in series to create a battery, with copper netting, aluminum eels, and vacuum-formed pools for the salt-water:
